Authenticate™ (Santa Monica, CA) is looking for a talented, hard-working, India-based QA Engineer to be a utility player on our development team. We provide services for identity verification and fraud prevention to add trust and safety, mitigate risk, deter theft, stop loss, protect assets, and ensure the most well-informed decisions based on the most accurate, verifiable data.

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through manual testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

You must be able to multi-task and manage many responsibilities at a time. You must also be comfortable contacting clients, team members, vendors, etc., through various channels. Problem-solving skills and initiative are fundamental requirements of the position and the determining factors in your evaluation. You will be performing tests of various kinds, including manual, integration, and performance testing on several products simultaneously, and be expected to organize and document your efforts diligently. You must frequently annotate our Jira boards and update the team regularly.

You’ll be part of our Product & QA team, who are responsible for building products that create value and have a great experience for our customers. You’re expected to work with our product, quality and engineering teams to ensure that the shipped update is bug-free and the best version of what we can release to our customers. You need to be product-driven and would be expected to be a high agency in terms of getting the work done.

We follow the agile methodology of development, and we expect you to come with enough experience to be able to hit the ground running on day one. You’ll be responsible for testing UI & UX improvements/feature updates and creating concise yet detailed tickets that will help your teammates to identify and fix issues as fast as possible. Your way of product thinking will be valuable here. You should also have a strong understanding of APIs, so as to test our backend API endpoints as required.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of quality assurance experience. Experience in software quality assurance, and API testing is a must along with manual testing experience.  Experience with security/performance testing, white box testing, and black box testing is a must.  Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.  Highly motivated, self-starter with a goal-oriented personality Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
