The Position
We are looking for a Senior Consolidation Reporting Analyst for our Group Finance team to work together on different initiatives related to accounting and consolidation by focusing on process improvement and implementation.
 
This is a temporary role intended to cover maternity leave, with an immediate start required. Ideal for candidates seeking impactful, short-term assignments.
 
Responsibilities

Support  financial statements consolidation in line with SP GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS 
Conduct technical discussions with the external auditors
Support trend and gap analysis and develop and implement process improvements based on the analysis performed
Evaluate the impact of business changes and new policies on local GAAP vs. IFRS financial statements
Draft and update work-related documentation and accounting guidelines
Provide support to external and internal audit teams, as required, in connection with UK GAAP, IFRS consolidation year-end audit, controls testing and any other ad-hoc audit queries
Take initiative and actively participate in optimization projects on the various processes and for the various regions in the Group

You have…

At least 3-5 years of previous experience in a Big 4, auditing Tech companies, scale-ups, and publicly listed entities
At least 3 years of experience as a consolidation analyst or senior analyst
Technical knowledge and experience in preparing consolidation of financial statements, consolidation adjustments and having worked in an HQ/Group function of large companies
Previous involvement in an annual group audit
Preparation of external reporting and consolidated annual accounts
Strong Excel skills and finance system skills
Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS
Full fluency in English is a must

Nice if you also have…

Experience in a HQ/group accounting function
An adaptable and eager skillset  to deliver on multiple competing deadlines 
Experience leading teams and participating in cross-functional projects
Experienced using ERP systems (Netsuite preferable, but not essential)
Experience in systems implementation
Preparation of external reporting and internal reporting to senior management
