Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our high-performing GTM Insights and Analytics team, within Sopho’s Sales Operations organization. We are looking for an individual who excels in data visualization, data modeling, and comprehensive data analysis. This role demands a strategic thinker who can leverage their technical expertise alongside their business acumen to deliver actionable insights to sales, sales operations, product operations and other corporate stakeholders. You will be a key partner in design, development, and support of scalable data models and dashboards, while also bringing a natural curiosity to proactively develop exploratory insights.
What You Will Do

Create compelling visualizations using Power BI to drive business decision-making and align with business goals
Analyze and interpret complex datasets to derive actionable insights that support business objectives
Effectively communicate insights and results from analysis to stakeholders
Develop and maintain robust data models and dashboards that facilitate efficient reporting and analysis.
Respond to on-demand analytics and data extraction requests, in a fast-paced environment
Promote and exemplify development best practices, coding standards, and design principles
Explore improvement opportunities and emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive innovation and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our data analytics processes
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise Data, to deliver the optimal data-based solution to our organization
Bring your own knowledge and perspective to the analysis, enhancing our ability to understand key opportunities and business drivers
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all platforms, particularly within Snowflake.

What You Will Bring

5+ years’ experience in data analysis and interpretation
5+ years’ experience with visualization tools, with proficiency in Power BI
3-5 years’ hands-on experience in designing and implementing data models, understanding database structures and ensuring data integrity
3-5 years’ experience with SQL and Snowflake for data extraction and manipulation
Strong understanding of Sales, Sales Funnel, Pipeline and related performance indicators (KPIs), preferably in a subscription and/or channel-driven environment
Demonstrated ability to connect data insights to business strategy and objectives
Exceptional communication abilities, able to interpret and articulate requirements and findings with ease
Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive analytics or machine learning is beneficial
Excellent project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead data projects and work with multiple teams
A blend of technical skills and business insight is critical to the success of this role
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
